I have to admit, I am not too thrilled that my first blog post was on Valentine's Day as I have always boycotted the holiday due to the unnecessary hype. However, I made the best of it by creating something I have been day dreaming about and hopefully by next Valentine's Day I will have a much more creative post, containing some wonderfully original project like the one I am working on this weekend from Chic Greek. Until a few months ago when a friend of mine opened my eyes to the world of blogging, I thought it was an old school equivalent of Facebook where people posted boring information about their lives and day to day activities- was I wrong! The insight that I have found through the creativity of these bloggers and the wonderful projects (and recipes) that they have shared with me was dazzling. And although I do not expect to surpass their beautiful blogs, I hope to eventually be able to share some of my own projects and learn to tune into my creative side through their ingenuity.
I will be attempting to create this adorable DIY Kate Spade Cloverdale Rose Bowl this weekend, wish me luck and check out this adorable blog, Chic Greek!
Regardless of my realizations through life I will always be the blue eyed blonde that....... Views her glass as half full• Values practicality over creativity• Doesn't know dance moves but that doesn't stop her from thinking she does• Paints her nails bright coral when she's feeling blue• Could live happily off of confetti cupcakes• Has a list for everything• Will never give up her library card • Questions everything • & Always has a skip in her step & a twinkle in her eye.

You take the cake, Valentine!
Valentine's Day is either loved or loathed. There are those that are reminded how loved they are and those that chose to be reminded of how single they are. I for one, significant other or not, have never been a huge fan of the Hallmark Holiday. However, I must admit over the past 2 years, I have grown to appreciate this day for all the glorious hues of pinks and delectable goodies. What is not to love about getting to make lovely cupcakes adorned in pink frosting with hot pink sprinkles for your employees? Besides, a little pink and white tulle and balloons in the office never hurt anyone. Any excuse to bake and decorate!
